Overuse injury: Sounds like you were in good swimming 'shape' then quit for ten days and resumed at your previous pace and time swimming.This is very suggestive of overuse injury to your swimming muscles ( in thus case, your pecs)... Would suggest taking an nsaids ( ibuprofen) for a few days, rest from swimming ( cross train ) and then slowly return to swimming.( both amount u swim and pace). Good luck!
