A member asked:

If water breaks @ 35 weeks, should labour try to be stopped, or delivery has to take place at this point?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Do what your OB says: But at 35 weeks the perinatologist that helps me manage any problems with my patients says labor should not be stopped, and labor should be induced if the water has broken, the risk of infection out weighs the risk of prematurity when you are 35 weeks.
