Recent blood: The bleeding looked worse immediately because it was just coming out. Later, you didn't have any fresh flow so it just looked brown. Unless you're having sex right around your period, it isn't normal to have bleeding with sex. You should see your doctor to get checked for infection or other problems with the cervix, vagina or uterus.
