No and Yes: Sucralose doesn't have calories, so by itself will not cause weight gain. However, it makes foods and drinks sweet, and maintains a person's irresistable attraction to other sweet or sugary stuff... So the person may end up eating more foods or drinks overall, and thus get more calories over the course of the day, and gain weight.
