Splenda has: Been given a pass in the us and europe. No evidene that it causes cancer in humans. There is some reports of mouse cancers in dose far exceeding what we use in people. I love iced tea and use saccharin: it dissolves well and sweetens at "iced" temperatures. Splenda floats.
