Since i've started taking linzess, i've had difficulty getting asthmatic secretions out of my chest. my sinuses are more congested. any correlation?

Maybe...: In clinical trials with cic (chronic ideopathic constipation) patients, adverse events with Linzess users compared with those taking placebo included: upper respiratory infections (5% versus 4%), and sinusitis (3% versus 2%). Review of pubmed shows no reported correlation with asthma, cough, mucus production. You now have to decide if the benefit of any drug outweighs its personal side effects.
