Ask your surgeon: With my patients are usually tell them to return to normal activity as tolerated by pain. That may not be the case however if a non-mesh technique was used. Furthermore, there are different types of mesh techniques. The best thing I do for this is to ask you surgeon as local circumstances are variable. Hope this helps!
