Need more info: It is likely that tiredness is causing sleepiness. Try to get 7-8 hours of sleep each night. If the symptoms persist, it would be prudent to consult your doctor.

Depression = Sleep: I recommend you consult with your primary doctor to rule-out a medical problem causing the sleepiness. If not a medical problem, then consult with a psychologist. Quite often sleeping excessively is one symptom of depression, especially if you are not taking medication (prescribed or over-the-counter) with a side effect of sleepiness. When depression decreases, fatigue/sleeping problems decrease.

Somnolence: This could be due to fatigue from unusual activities, lack of sound sleep the night before, depression, an oncoming illness like a cold or influenza or a variety of other causes. If it continues and is disturbing, see a doctor.
