Blood pressure: You need to be seen by a physician. You don't necessarily have to go to er but you need to be evaluated soon.

Depends on symptoms: If you have severe headache or any visual problems associated with the elevated blood pressure, or any local symptoms like part of my face is droopy or tingly, then er it is. If at this point it is as you say just the elevated BP and edema, then make an appointment with primary care doctor next week. Don't wait longer until it does become a medical emergency.
