A member asked:

Abdominal pain lower left side, 5-7 bowel movements per day, blood and mucus also, colonoskpoy clear but ct scan showed focal wall thicken, crohns?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Need more info: Usually a colonoscopy would be much more detailed and accurate than a ct scan, for the colon. The ct scan only identifies possible findings that may or may not have any clinical significance. Where was the "focal wall thickening"? If it was on the colon, then the colonoscopy would have already cleared that area. If it is small bowel thickening, then ask your doctors what it means for you.
