Sacroiliac joint: A loose and subluxing sacroiliac joint (sij) of the pelvis can pop, cause sciatica, and pain that radiates to the low back, hip, and groin. Rowing, mopping, lifting while twisting, making beds, etc. Arouses painful ligament stretch of the sij; as does having sex in the missionary position. Any young female with this pain pattern should study the brighton criteria for joint hypermobility syndrome.
