See gynecologist.: Nitrofurantoin is used for urinary tract infection. Are you taking this for that problem? Are you talking of a vaginal discharge? Sometimes a urinary tract infection and vaginal infections can occur. If there is a vaginal discharge you might want to see your gynecologist and have this examined because the treatment maybe different.
