A member asked:

Biopsy report: severely dysplastic keratinizing squamous cells. does it mean that there is a cancerous growth?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Almost: In your history, you acknowledge you already have been treated for one squamous cell carcinoma of your buccal mucosa. You're only 32 years old. You have a second lesion that is probably going to turn into frank cancer if it isn't already. If you are smoking or chewing tobacco, you must stop now. And this lesion must be treated. Period. Good luck. Stay proactive.
