Dx: lupoid arthritis 6 months ago. i take plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine) and i feel great, my arthritis is gone and it seems to have a positive effect on my anti-tpo. will i ever be able to go off meds?

No: Plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine) is extremely important not only in controlling the common symptoms of sle but also in preventing more serious issues from occurring in the future. I strongly believe it is a lifetime theory and should be continued even throughout pregnancy.
