See a good doctor.: When a woman doesn't get pregnant after 1 year of trying, we call that infertility. There are a number of reasons why, including sperm problems, not ovulating regularly, tube problems, etc. None of them is likely to be diagnosed by a scan. Some fluid in the pouch of douglas is normal. If it's a lot, it may mean you had an ovarian cyst rupture. That usually takes care of itself.
