Need more info: Chest pain can have many causes and the liklihood of one versus the other changes based on age, weight, and coexisting medical conditions. A good history, physical exam and diagnostics like ekg and chest xray can help sort out the more serious like cardiac from things like a pulled muscle or costochondritis.

Mgt/workup: Chest pain at your age often is non cardiac or muscular. Sometimes though it can be related to disease of the chest or cardiac disease. A typical screening test such as a 12 lead EKG following a detailed history and physical exam could be indicated. Providing more details such as duration, intensity, location, associated symptoms and family history will help your physician.
