A member asked:

Can i change doctors, tell them my problems and then have them refer me to whoever? is that a good place to start?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

You can change Docts: Yes anybody who is not satisfied with their doctor can change their doctor .But referral is only recommended if the treating doctor is not able to handle your medical problem or feels he/she needs to consult a specialist for particular suspected problem or testing like colonoscopy. And other tests not available in primary care office.
