It can be.: This is clearly an indicator of possible cervical cancer, and if bleeding is seen in post-menopausal patients, it is a strong sign of endometrial cancer. It would be wise to see your doctor to get this worked up.

It can be: Vaginal bleeding between periods can be a sign of cancer. Remember, there are several benign (non cancer related) causes for bleeding between menstrual cycles. See your physcian for evaluation.

Could be: Cancer is only one of the many causes of bleeding between periods, others being, hormonal imbalance, cervicitis, endometrial polyps. However, any irregular bleeding should be investigated to exclude cervical or endometrial cancer.
