Saw ent today for asymetrical tonsils &sore throat- after examination he doesn't feel biopsy is neccisary said it looks ok and feels ok do i trust him?

You should: The ENT dr. Went to college, than to a 4 year medical school, then did a residency in ent. I would expect him/her to be qualified to determine if the area looks serious enough to bx or not. Stay well, and if the area continues to bother you, then re-check with the ENT and bring any questions with you before you see him so all your concerns can be answered. Good luck.

Yes you should: Trust your doctor , unilateral swelling of tonsil ( tonsillitis ) is not uncommon, if you are not happy take a second opinion.
