Chlamydia: The probability is that one or both of you is not fully revealing about their sexual activities. This is overwhelmingly a sexually transmitted disease. You do not get this casually under most circumstances.

Tested?: I may need to have you clarify what tested means? Chlamydia needs to be specifically tested. For females that means the throat and the vagina or cervix. For men this means, in most cases urine or penile swab. If there are symptoms and a negative test then the test may be falsely negative. Both partners need full treatment and no exposure till clear after treatment.
