Bursitis?: Sounds like you may have an inflammation of the bursa located between the scapula (shoulder blade) and chest wall. This is called scapulo-thoracic bursitis. It can cause sharp or aching pain, and cracking or popping. It can be treated with ice, rest, shoulder strengthening, anti-inflammatory meds, cortisone injections, and sometimes with surgery. See your local ortho doc for an evaluation.

Noise=bursitis: U may have knots but noise usually is a sign of subscapular bursitis, ; the rx is different somewhat. Still rest, ice, otc nsaids along with activity modification. Treat on ur own or get a rx 4 pt.B sure 2 get an ortho consult 1st.
