Eye shingles ret pig: You need to call your eye doctor for a follow up examination to diagnosis your vision loss, and try to prevent worsening of your loss.

Unusual: Very unlikely to get shingles 3 times. Consult ophthalmologist. Was it really shingles? Did it involve the tip of your nose? The cornea shares a sensory nerve with the tip of the nose. This is a marker for possible damage to the cornea by shingles. Retinitis pigmentosa is a separate issue. The older you are at onset the more likely you may experience rapid progression.
