Sounds safe: If pregnant, a home pregnancy test, done correctly, is accurate 2-3 weeks after sex. People who never get positive home pregnancy tests are not pregnant (or too early in their pregnancies) at the time of testing. A negative test a week later can confirm non-pregnancy.
