Might look similar: Someone who "hoards" things can never throw them away. You find piles of newspapers and magazines that might be from years ago, stacked up so that there's hardly room to move in the place. Every surface is covered with items. It can be a type of obsessive anxiety disorder. "cd" is a variant of normal, problematic at times -- but they do discard things no longer being used, without huge anxiety.
