See your doctor: If you have polycystic ovarian syndrome, and you are already on metformin, then you may need more help to regulate your periods. Your doctor may suggest birth control pills or intermittent Progesterone withdrawals, but if you're not pregnant, not getting your period for seven months isn't healthy.
