Tongue cancer: He should be evaluated by a head and neck cancer surgeon. The surgeon can do a physical exam, biopsies, and order the appropriate scans that may need to be done. Some questions to ask are: what kind of cancer is it, how is it treated, what to expect after treatment, and how advanced is it. I wish your father the best.
