I have been diagnosed with colonized mssa in my lungs (from a bronchoscopy.) i've tried 10 days on amoxicillin & rifampin. now kp is telling me to "just live with it". are there other options?

Muciporin: If mssa in nasal culture you could try solution of muciporin or chlorhexidine.

Any symptoms?: If you are not having symptoms, I wouldn't worry about it. I wouldn't take any more antibiotics. If you were to get pneumonia, you now know the likely culprit and antibiotics can be tailored to cover MSSA.
