Keep producing: The way to increase breast milk production is to keep producing. Using the breast pump in addition to breast feeding your infant to increase your supply makes sense. It is important that you maintain your nutrition and hydration through this process.

Increase breast milk: There are several things to do to increase supply. Get plenty of fluid (>100 ounces a day), get rest (have hubby do housework), pump frequently, try to put baby to breast occasionally and try galactagogues. These are foods and herbs that historically have increased milk production and include fenugreek teas, papaya, beer, amongst other substances. Google galactogogues for sites with lists for you.
