Post hysterectomy: Menopausal women may be susceptible to vaginal trauma from intercourse, it could be a uti, and while vaginal cancer is rare, that can be a cause as well (especially if hysterectomy was done for cervical dysplasia or cancer). If it persists please see a gynecologist for evaluation.
