Can i continue taking acidophilus (probiotic) while taking levaquin (levofloxacin) (antibiotic) for a sinus infection?

Yes, but....: The antibiotic will kill ( inactivate) the lactobacillus, especially if taken within 4 hours of dosing. Can take probiotic yeast, s boulardii, e.g. Florastor, at same time as the levaquin (levofloxacin).
