Maybe: It is hard to know whether that dose would suppress ovulation. Chances are it won't but it could still prevent pregnancy through changes in the endometrium and cervical mucous. Differences in absorption of oral Progesterone would account for the uncertainty in suppression. Many ovulate, despite high doses of progesterone. You should resume normal function after discontinuation.
