Tinnitus: Ringing in the ear can occur when there is fluid in the ears as in congestion and you instead hear the flowing of blood and your pulses not outside noise. It can also occur when there is nerve problem as side effects of medicines like some antibiotics and pain medicines. See your doctor to see what is causing it as it may be easily corrected.

See below: Ringing in ears(tinnitus) can be caused by ear infection or by blockage. How long have you been taking antibioics? If still ringing after finishing antibiotic go back to your doctor to check your ears & will either recommend or prescribe a decongestant or refer you to an ENT doctor for further evaluation. Hope you feel better soon.
