Probable new stone: Degree of pain caused by kidney stones usually indicates degree of urinary obstruction present in that kidney, ; thus very variable. Some are infectious kidney stones associated with some kidney infection ; pain. Certainly kidney stone needs 2B ruled out first. Other consideration is that pain is musculo-skeletal. Your dr will certainly help. Degree of pain suggests that this isn't an emergency.
