Help with pain 4 weeks after metatarsal fracture?

Because it takes: Approximately 6?Weeks give or take two weeks in either direction it is not unusual to have pain at the 4 week mark. I hope you are in a surgical shoe or walking boot and not walking on your foot without being in one of these.

WHO IS TREATING IT?: Pain 4 weeks after fracture may or may not be normal. Is a doctor treating it, or are you self treating it? Is the pain getting better/worse? Constant? If being treated by a doctor, are you following orders? Do you smoke....STOP! It can still be painful, but it should be less so. "Help with pain" through narcotic analgesics is not the answer. See your doctor!
