What could isolated chronic cough mean?

Chronic assumes: 3 month duration or more. But the real answer to your question begs more information from you regarding at a minimum age, gender, physical location, medical history, medications, social habits, results of any recent tests and then more based upon the answers. There is no point providing a lengthy list of cough etiologies which won't be helpful and may just confuse you more. See your doctor
