A member asked:

How does having color blindness affect driving?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Minimal effect: If you are color deficient, you cannot distinguish certain colors but your basic acuity and field of vision are probably normal. All street signals are now made with filters that will not be confused by the color deficient. It is very unlikely that you will run into a problem in the usual driving situation in which your color dysfunction will cause a problem.
