Could bi-polar cause extreme drowsiness?

Possibly...: Changes in energy level (too high and too low) are characteristic of mood disorders including depression and bipolar. Then again there are many medical reasons for fatigue including anemia, hypothyroidism, and poor diet or sleep hygiene. I would speak with your physician before drawing any conclusions.
