Infected piercing: Check for signs of infection to include: ^'ed redness, warmth, swelling. ^'ed tenderness, pus, red streaking, swollen lymph nodes or fever. Recommend keeping the piercing in place unless directed by your doctor (if removed – the drainage tract will close up with increased chance for abscess formation). Apply antibiotic to the piercing site twice a day. all your physician for medical evaluation.

Piercing: You remove the device, soak the area with compresses that are hot but not burning hot. If this fails to improve or gets any worse see a doctor ASAP.
