Help please? how long after contact with contagious pneumonia does it affect you?

Pneumonia: It depends on the type of pneumonia, your age, your general health among other things. From the time of infection, it could take as little as a day, or as much as a week or so, for symptoms to appear.

Varies: If infected with a pneumonia-causing organism, it takes as little as 1 to 3 days or as long as 7 to 10 days for symptoms to appear.
