Which substances & therapy-like things are most beneficent for adults with aspergers & vice-versa?

Insight: To my knowledge, no medication, and especially no herbal / "pop" remedy will touch Asperger's. The key is to learn about other people, how to read them, how to relate to them, how to capitalize on your intellectual gifts and power to focus, how to find a sport that's right for you (strength / endurance, not ream or coordination) and how to be happy in a world where there are no quick fixes.

Effective behavioral: & educational therapies for persons with Autistic Spectrum Disorder are intensive, repetitive & tailored to the person's cognitive developmental level. Because rote memory is a strength, a person with ASD & normal cognition can learn to act "as if" they understand how to respond in novel social situations. ADHD & anxiety often co-exist with ASD & may require medication management as an adjunct.
