Hematuria: If you have pain and bloody urine when you urinate, get your urine cultured to see if you have a urinary tract infection (uti). Bloody urine is never normal. If you have a uti, see a doctor and get started on some antibiotics to treat it. If you don't, see a urologist to find out where the blood is coming from. It could be either from your kidneys or your bladder. Good luck.
