Seversl days: Well zyprexa (olanzapine) is metabolized by the liver, excreted by the kidneys in urine, 57%, and in feces 30%. The key point however is that it has a 1/2 life of 21-54 hrs. Meaning it takes that long to eleminate 1/2 the drug from your system, then that long to eleminate 1/2 of what's left and so on till it's all gone. Some people rapidly metabolize zpxa hence the difference in 1/2 life & excretion rate.

Depends: The half life is 21 to 54 hours, so anywhere from 105 hours to 250 hours to clear. It will clear faster if one smokes cigarettes.
