Ankle swelling: This could be from a previous injury or arthritic change in the ankle joint. You could also have a biomechanical imbalance that causes you to ambulate and put stress upon the ankle. A gait analysis, x-ray and or an if necessary an MRI can help to determine the source of the ankle swelling.
