Quite a few: Quite a number of genes which are know to interact to cause asthma have been identified. However, the end is not yet here. Links between seemingly unrelated genes have been noted. So we have a situation where any number of genes can be implicated but there is still more research to be done . The human genome is a very big, complex thing.
