A member asked:

Is a dental crown supposed to wobble a little bit?

No, its not: Any detectable movement usually means something is going on under your crown. Many things could cause this, but i would definitely show this to your dentist because it could mean there is additional decay under the crown which could lead to more serious problems.

No: A crown and the tooth it is placed on should not "wobble". The tooth should be stable and have minimal mobility.

Not at all: This is a sign that there's something wrong with that tooth. Make sure you have it checked out by your dentists asap.

Dental crown: A dental crown should be solid and function just like a natural tooth. If any concerns see your dentist for an evaluation and an answer.

No: Any tooth that wobbles is not good. It may only mean the crown is loose, or worse, the implant could be failing. Go see your dentist.

No: A dental crown is cemented into place with a water resistant cement or water proof cement and should not wobble or move. Perhaps your whole tooth is moving. Get checked for periodontal disease, root canal problems, or hyperocclusion. (the crown if left higher than the rest can receive too much pressure and lateral forces causing mobility)
