Can you tell me, are cramps normal 9 days before period is due?

Maybe: If the cramps are occurring monthly and are severe then you need to be checked by a GTN MD for Endometriosis. If not, then most likely the cramping is normal.

They can be: If your period is normally foreshortened in a given month, then cramping may start "early" in the menstrual cycle. However, endometriosis and fibroid patients also note abnormal cramping significant days prior to a period. If this pattern continues, see a GYN MD fro assessment.
