"Late period" ?'s: With regular period history, and if pregnancy is possible, cramps may indicate early pregnancy. Wait a week more, and if your cycle does not start, obtain a serum HCG test to be certain. If pain persists, and is more severe with bleeding, a pregnancy outside the uterus (ectopic), so see your gyn physician immediately for diagnosis and treatment.
