Vaginitis: there r other causes of vaginitis other than yeast. Exam needed to check wet mount /cultures. Bacterial vaginosis caused by overgrowth of bacteria and causes symptoms when normal vaginal flora has been disrupted. this produces a fishy odor. This is easily treated with either oral or topical vaginal cream. This is not an STD.

How to treat vaginal yeast infection? Have been to doc and use 10days of insert. But after day 15 it came back again.
I get frequent vaginal infections affirm always shows BV and yeast. Happening 1-2 times a mo. Doc says just keep coming back and testing but its getting costly. Any alternatives? Oddly probiotic made my constipation worse?
So I went to the docs like a year or too ago an I thought I had a yeast infection so i took meds for it and it didnt work. I still have bad odor, itchiness, and a lot of vaginal discharge. What should I do? Do i need a stronger medicine or something?
