A member asked:

What can i do about collarbone pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on location…: Pain at the medial end of the collarbone could be related to arthritis where it articulates with the sternum. The distal end is the more common place and that could be related to arthritis in the AC joint. An old fracture or an old separated shoulder predisposes you to that. Rotational movements and heavy weightlifting aggravate the problem. Recommended treatment depends on the cause and the aggravating factors.
