A member asked:

How could i get my abrasion to scab?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Why?: Abrasion? Where? How deep? How large? Using any med on it? There is nothing magic about a scab. Wounds heal best if kept moist, not dry. Avoid peroxide, alcohol, antiseptics. Avoid antibiotics, bacitracin, Neosporin, as these are common senitizers and only cause allergic reactions. Water and vaseline (Aquaphor) aid wound healing and reduce discomfort.
